There are lots of ways in which you can join with us in the work of School of Empowerment and we are always encouraged when God prompts someone to support us – whether it is in prayer, practical commitment or with financial gifts. Here are some ways that you can help…
There are ongoing projects at center to modernize and improve faculties. If you are able to offer your time and skills to help us with these projects it is always very much appreciated. Please contact us for more details of the many different ways you could assist them. Examples might include help with the gardens, maintenance of buildings inside and out, administration, reception, hairdressing, transport, expert advice, sewing, plumbing… you fill in the gaps!
Counseling support is, and always has been a vital part of the support of School of Empowerment: AFRICA and there are a number of ways you can get involved. Firstly, we have lots of Counseling & Prayer Support Group which meet each month at our center and other venues to assist in counseling & praying for the work of SOEAFRICA. If you are able to attend it would be great to welcome you.

Volunteers are the life-blood of organizations like ourselves and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without people like you!
Please take the opportunity to read through and familiarize yourself with our website before you complete an application form. We know it is long, but we have put it together in the hope that it will provide you with a good grasp of what we do and what you can expect from volunteering for us (as well as what we will expect of you as a volunteer!)
But! Before you read any further we do have some basic admission criteria that you will need to meet in order to apply:
You or your leader must be over 21 (unless you have express permission from a member of SOEAFRICA Staff department or you are part of a mission team affiliated with SOEAFRICA)
You or your leader must have your own transportation (exceptions can be made for certain projects, please email us)
As a volunteer who will be working with children, you will be required to sign ourChild Protection Policy Form and provide your ID or passport number. In some instances, you will be required to have a police clearance if you are working in direct contact with children.
